I‘m Simo, the founder of Merzouga Expedition, and I’m so excited to bring citizens of the world to my home country, country of extraordinary nature, culture, spices and food – Morocco! I raised as a Berber and later in life moved to the city due to the challenges of life in the deserts. This life path gave me expertise in many sides of living in this country, and they are magnificent – I want to introduce you to all of it. I am very much in love with the spectacular landscapes of my country (and it is not only the Sahara Desert that will blow your mind!) … I have worked in various roles in the tourism industry including: Hotels, Riads, Restaurants, Attractions, and also as a Driver Guide with different Travel Companies. I have studied English at the university of Marrakech, I speak fluent English, Italian, Spanish, French, Arabic and also my mother tongue Berber.
