8 day Morocco Tour itinerary
day 1: arrival in Casablanca Airport
Thousand welcome into Morocco with M-E!
You will be welcomed at the Mohamed 5 Airport in Casablanca by one of our professional driver/guide, then departure to your hotel/accommodation, situated at the center city of Casablanca, to rest for a while, them we’ll go to visit the stunning Hassan II mosque, which has the tallest minaret and the third largest mosque in the world, it can hold 25,000 worshipers at one time.
The mosque is worthy to visit, due to its charming decoration and also the center position. It is situated on the foot of the Atlantic ocean. At the evening, you’ll have time to walk along the Cornish coast oto enjoy an adorable sunset. Overnight and dinner at the Hotel.
day 2: Casablanca - Rabat
After brekfast at the Riad, we’ll drive straight to Rabat: the capital city of the country and thus administrative, political and financial center of Morocco, where you can stroll through its well defined neighborhoods and visit several important monuments:
Alcazaba of Oudaias, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Tower Hassan and the quietest of all Moroccan souk, as the Medina is another place to get lost in this city, where every good and mediate their scents and products of all kinds are mixed: crafts, spices, food, etc … Overnight and dinner at the Riad.
day 3: Rabat - Meknes - volubilis - fes
After a hearty Breakfast in the Riad, we’ll head up to the imperial city of Meknes, located in northern central Morocco and it is the sixth largest city by population in the kingdom. Founded in the 11th century by the Almoravids as a military settlement, Meknes became the capital of Morocco under the reign of Sultan Moulay Ismail from 1672 to 1727. Moulay Ismail is the son of the founder of the Alaouite dynasty. In Meknes, you’ll be visiting the most interesting parts of the Medina, such as: the famous huge Mansour gate, the Sahrij Souani, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismael and also the historical Qarra prison.
After lunch, we will continue our journey to Volubilis, which commonly considered as the ancient capital of the Roman-Berber kingdom, Built in a fertile agricultural area, where you’ll see some beautiful Mosaic dating back to 25BC. At the evening we’ll arrive to Fes. Overnight and dinner at the Riad.
day 4: Fes Sightseeing
After Breakfast at the Riad, the journey will be a full day exploring the oldest Moroccan city, which is called, Fes: Founded at the 8th century by the Sultan Moulay Driss II. The visit will be started with the help of a professional local tour guide, exploring at the first side, Fes el Bali, situated at the outside of the Medina. Among the interesting monuments that you will be visiting are: the Royal palace gate, the Jewish headquarter (Was built at the 16th century, considered as the first Mellah in Morocco), and also an escape to The ceramic school, to admire the traditional Arabic art.
The second side, you’ll be walking properly into the adorable Fes Medina, and visit: the world’s oldest university Al Qarawiyin, the Tanneries and Moulay Driss mausoleum. Before we back to the Riad, a vehicle tour will be provided for you to enjoy the stunning panoramic views over the whole the Medina, adoring a charming sunset. Overnight and dinner at the Riad.
day 5: Fes - Ifrane - azrou - Middle Atlas - Beni Mellal - Ouzoud waterfalls
After Breakfast, we’ll drive towards south Ifrane, a stop will be at the city. That city’s shape is an European-style, and it is also called Switzerland of Morocco. After, we’ll head via the Middle Atlas mountains, enjoying wonderful and unique landscapes, offering numerous occasion to photograph amazing pictures.
Here we’ll stop at the cedar forest, to see the Wild Monkeys at their natural habitat, waiting for you to feed them. Later on, the journey will be continued through the local villages at the middle Atlas mountains, to explore the Berber way of life. The Berbers considered as the local inhabitants of Morocco. At the evening we will arrive to Ouzoud waterfalls village. Overnight and dinner at the Kasbah.
day 6: Ouzoud waterfalls - Marrakech
After a hearty Berber breakfast at the Kasbah, today you’ll have a full day in Ouzoud village, the word ”Ouzoud” is originally Berber, it means ”The act of grinding grain”, due to this, it seems to be confirmed by the frequent mills that exist at the whole region. Ouzoud waterfalls is considered as the highest waterfall in Afrika at 120m. During this journey in Morocco, you’ll be exploring one of the charming Morocco’s nature, by walking around the adorable waterfalls, starting from the top side, and then you’ll be crossing a wide valley of olives, with the option of finding wild monkeys at their natural habitat, waiting for you to feed them.
After taking pictures with the monkeys, the journey will be continued down to the falls to admire the impressive landscape views of the the green cultivated valleys and also of natural pools, where you’ll enjoy your swimming time. Lunch will be at a local restaurant in front of the main waterfall, you will be served delicious berber food. At the evening we’ll drive to Marrakech. Overnight and dinner at the Riad.
day 7: Marrakech Sightseeing
After breakfast at the Riad, you’ll start the journey by exploring Marrakech, which is called also ” the Moroccan red city, referring to its houses color”. walk around the imperial Medina with the help of our professional local tour guide, who will ensure that you discover the most important parts of historical and cultural interests, including: the Saadian tombs, El Bahia Palace, El Badi Palace, and Ben Youssef Coranic school.
Lunch will be at a typical restaurant near by the Famous square of Jamea El Fna. At the Afternoon, you will continue to explore the gardens of Majorelle, and the Koutoubia Tower. Overnight and Dinner at the Riad.
day 8: Marrakech to Casablanca Airport Departure
Today and after breakfast, you’ll be transferred from your Riad in Marrakech to the Casablanca Airport according to your Flight time. End of our services.
